More flexibility and observability with Atoti Python API 0.9.0

Data model transactions, a generic JDBC connector for DirectQuery users, and our new plugin make our Python API more flexible than ever.

Hetal Kapadia

This latest release of Atoti Python API offers ways to build more efficiently and flexibly. Try the the newest features, like the observability plugin.

Enhanced Data Model Transactions

We are introducing the capability to batch multiple changes in a single transaction. This enhancement allows users to perform operations like creating measures, changing visibility, and updating folders all within one transaction. The result is a significant performance boost, reducing the time required to make numerous changes and streamlining data management processes.

Support for Generic JDBC Connector

Atoti Python API users using DirectQuery can use a generic JDBC connector. With this generic JDBC connector, users can configure the dialect of the underlying database and gain the flexibility to connect to other databases beyond those we currently support.

For more changes related to DirectQuery, read our previous blog post.

Observability with Atoti Python API

Our new Python plugin for Atoti introduces enhanced observability, allowing users to gain insights into their Atoti environment from the Python side. This integration provides better monitoring and debugging capabilities, ensuring that they can maintain optimal performance and quickly identify and resolve any issues.
